As the first comprehensive examination of voter behavior in Web3, this research explores two significant blockchain ecosystems, Curve Finance and Polkadot, using a novel quantitative methodology to decompose and highlight voter patterns.

Most importantly, reputation brings to the table an important element of decentralization: Skin in the game. One that’s not based on wealth in the form of stake, but one that incentivizes validators who work relentlessly for the network.

There is a meaningful way to have community participate in grant allocation while maintaining token value accrual, staking utility and minimal attack vectors. This idea is an interesting intersection between DeFi security and Public Goods Funding.
